[05.31.2018] The Last Day of May
This, by far, has been the most challenging, yet the most fun birth month for me. To start off, I was given a big new project with never ending issues in it, and a lot more complications each time an installation was done. Just happy that I was able to survive all the stress and the sh*t that was going on during the course of project deployment. And also soooo happy that I was able to 'finish'' it before going on Maternity Leave.
Then, too blessed to see Bruno Mars in the flesh! My mom was actually telling me to give the tickets up and just sell it because I was due to give birth this month. I talked to Caeleb, told him not to come out yet until Mommy and Daddy have watched Bruno Mars' concert, and he complied. HAHAHA. Lo and behold, I was 38 weeks pregnant and screaming my lungs out as Bruno Mars sang 24k Magic and Versace On The Floor at the Mall of Asia Arena last May 4.
Indeed, Caeleb was a good boy. He did not cause Mommy too much pain. On the 10th of May, I was in the office, going about an ordinary day. Had breakfast, fixed my face. As I was fixing my face, I felt a sudden gush, and I knew that was it. No contractions, so the hubby and I were able to get to the hospital in peace. At 9:43PM, I gave birth to my precious little one, my Dylan Caeleb.
Last but not the least, I hit the 30th year mark this year. I celebrated my 30th at home, with Caeleb and my family last 22nd. It was indeed and ordinary day, unlike my previous summers in which I was out, at the beach or maybe in the mountains, celebrating my birthday. Sooo different, but definitely, nothing beats.
Just so thankful for all the blessings. Indeed. God is good.
